Job Description Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide program administration and support of employee benefits, including employee insurance, enrollment, claims resolution, disability and leave coordination, forms processing, and workers’ compensation claims. Performs essential functions of this position with minimal supervision. Additional duties may be assigned.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree.

Three years related experience to include familiarity of state and federal laws relating to Employee Benefits/Human Resources and working knowledge of administering employee insurance, retirement plans, FMLA, and Workers’ Compensation.

Additional years of related work experience may be substituted for education.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred working knowledge of TRS, ERS, ORP, 403(b) plans, Colleague system, demonstrated planning and organization skills; demonstrated ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task with minimal supervision.
