Job Description Summary

The purpose of this position is to assist the Executive Director of Development in the planning, coordinating and reporting roles of the Foundation’s resource management function.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance major.

Three years related experience in accounting.

Preferred Qualifications

Three years in audit or financial management in non-profit area or five years related experience.

Knowledge of the community college structure.

Strong human relations skills.
Ability to exercise initiative and the ability to work with diverse individuals and/or groups.

Ability to work independently or as a member of a group.

Knowledge of Microsoft office applications,specialized accounting and reporting software; and data management.

Manage and coordinate associated functions and reports on the administration of financial and scholarship matters associated with the Del Mar College Development, Foundation, and Alumni Services activities.
