Job Description Summary

Assist the Assistant Director of Foundation Services in the management of the donor database and accounting functions for the Office of Development, Alumni and Foundation Services. Primary responsibilities include: management of daily gift entry process, management of donor receipt and acknowledgement process, management of the database queries and reports, assist in bookkeeping/accounting tasks for the DMC Foundation accounts, and maintaining the accounting and integrity of donor and contributed gifts income and financial records.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Knowledge of database management.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Three years related experience in scholarship management, database management and/or financial fund accounting to include one year in scholarship awarding and tracking and one year in database management with query experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of query and data import processes using donor management systems: Talisma, Raiser’s Edge, MS Dynamics. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Manage the Donor Database (Donor2, Talisma) assuring the integrity of data and records, including the accurate entry of data for donor and donor prospect records, and the production of lists, queries and reports with proper alignment to financial module.
